Painting is my process for bringing stories to life as art.
Color, line, and texture are my vocabulary.
Each story is painted from many moments of decision making and problem solving.
When people connect with my work, I think it’s the art storytelling inviting them to join the conversation.
The mark of a truly good story is that it never gets old because something new and unexpected is discovered every time it’s told.
I chase this in my artwork, where the seemingly familiar suddenly surprises and becomes new again.
A chance for discovery—through a good story—it’s what makes art worthy of life.
